Can you make any suggestions
for booking flights? My travel agent says that airline tickets purchased
separately are more expensive than the flight/accommodation packages
that they offer...
One option that you can choose to exercise
to receive a better price on your flight is to book a package with
your travel agent for flights and accommodations at a budget hotel
in Bali. Of course, you are not required to actually stay at the
hotel, but this is a commonly used Win Win choice
because everyone benefits. Plus, should you choose to extend your
stay beyond the 8 day/7 night Retreat Package, you can use your
package accommodation to enjoy a longer stay in Bali and visit some
of the other places of interest. We recommend visiting the the mountainous region of Ubud as a wonderful option for any extra days spent in Bali.

What is the weather
like in Indonesia?
Indonesia is right on the equator so it has warm, sunny
days (85F / 30C) and balmy nights all year. Tropical heat and lots
of sun is what its all about! By virtue of our unique geographic
location, Indonesia offers fantastic year round diving. Generally speaking, the "official" rainy season begins sometime in December and continues through March. However, there is still lots of sunshine during the day. The norm is for it to rain at night, ending by early morning. Occasionally, it will begin in the afternoon but typically only lasts for an hour, so the rain will not interfere with your diving as it is usually hot and sunny for most of the day.
